Next year 98% of Flagships will have QHD Screens. If you are not familiar with this term all I can say is:
You get 1.5 the maximum resolution of 2014 flagships, except for LG G3 of course since it is the first phone with a QHD display by a major smartphones manufacturer.

Processor
Most flagships of major smartphones' manufacturers use Qualcomm's processors. In the past MediaTek and Tegra processors where also used but they now mostly power low-end smartphones.
The current offerings from Qualcomm to high-end smartphones are Snapdragon 800, Snapdragon 801, Snapdragon 805, Snapdragon 808 and Snapdragon 810. The Snapdragon 800 and 801 are already in use in the likes of Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, Sony Xperia Z2, LG G3 while the Snapdragon 805 will be coming to releases in late 2014 like Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Sony Xperia Z3. On the other hand the processors that are yet to be released are the Snapdragon 808 and Snapdragon 810.
In 2015 it is expected that all flagships will be using the Snapdragon 808 or 810 which is really a big jump over the current Snapdragon 800,801 and of course better than the 805 here is why:
808 and 810 offer 64 bit architecture instead of the ordinary 32 bit in all other models. A system running on 64 bit processor with enough ram to support it (about 4 GB of Ram) will be flawless and as speedy as Usain Bolt running from a wild Cheetah Tiger.

Nokia put a wonderful 20 MP camera in its Lumia 930 and a 38 MP camera in the Lumia 1020 - Nokia's Flagships for 2014 and 2013 respectively - these cameras get our votes for the best cameras in 2013 - 2014.You may be wondering if Sony should be the king with its 20.7 MP camera, but the answer is no; Sony raised the count of the pixels but it couldn't fix the overall performance in different lighting conditions, Samsung's own S5 takes better pics with its 16 MP snapper.
